Did I really just spend $200 on a flashlight? Surefire C2-HA meets OpticsHQ mods...

Wow... reality is kicking in and I have fellow forumer _Shawn_ to blame for it. If you want a good excuse to spend money, talk to him and he'll coerce you into the glory that is OpticsHQ's tail-cap mod and drop-in mod. I bought the five-step reverse which means the rear button acts like a momentary tail-switch and the side button goes through the five steps.

I just talked with Kodi from OpticsHQ and the transaction was truly amazing. He explained to me how the tailcap worked and how the UI functioned in great detail and after watching a video review, I couldn't resist the Surefire C2-HA with the HAIII tailcap and drop-in pushing 250+ lumens!

It'll be here in a few days and maybe I'll do my first review (although I know it's already been done, but can't hurt right?).

This is about the C2; There is a mod somewhere in this thread that will allow a low with a soft push and high with a hard push. I hear it is a good mod but I have not done it myself.

i tried looking and searching, my apologies if im blind

but are there runtime charts for the OpticsHQ mod (TLS LED Drop-In and Multi-Function (Reverse) Tailcap Kit) on high, with est. lumens, and more importantly on low, again with est. lumens?

was going to get an E2DL but might go for a 6PD with this instead, if the runtime on low is greater than or equal to 75 hours...

I received it yesterday... check this new thread for my thoughts.
