Turn key Mag 623. Grade A host, Tri bored, Kiu socket, low resistance mod to both tail spring and switch, metal reflector, boro lens, 14.4v battery pack, 2 extra bulbs and brand new charger (used 2 times).

This hard shell case was purchased with out foam. I threw some spare pieces laying around and made what you see. Not pretty but effective and secure. Foam can be purchased via ebay. You could buy some plick and pluck for a similar size pelican. The case is VERY tough. I own several pelican's and this case is built just as good. It's previous life was holding night vision for Americans finest.

:thinking: thanks for the heads up. My mistake. Ive edited the first post.
I purchased this setup with out a charger awhile back and assumed that it was one of yours. Ive charged the pack 3 times total since I bought it and seems to function fine. I will verify with the previous owner and see if he conditioned the batteries or any other information concerning the pack.

Put a Lux luthor 13 cell pack straight into this host and screw on the tailcap ( You will need to deanodized the inside base of the tailcap...use lye, oven cleaner or just scratch /scrape the anodise off with a flat head screw driver)
and press the switch....

You will need to let the 13 cell pack cool down a few hours after charging on the 64623.

What would be the approximate runtime of this light, and can it be on for the entire time or will it get to hot?

Ive not had it on for more then 2 minutes at a time. in a 1-2 minute run it is toasty but not bad. If you were to touch the lens during that time you would get burned. Ive caught paper on fire a few times showing off to friends. Its a true jaw dropper. Unbelievably bright. Ive seen a few run times and it seems 8-10 minutes would be fair to assume.
