Has anyone tried to make an Aluminum "body" machined to accept the incredibly clever Surge 8 AA battery holder with the attached bulb assembly? I take the thing apart on occasion just to think about the possibilities. I know of few (if any) one piece assemblies like it. You know, it works just fine outside of the light. Hmmmmm.
