This is my fist review here hope not the last one ;)
I've just received new Tiablo Matador BR100

My first impressions:

Package arrived in 7 days after ordering (DX)
This is first of couple (BR100 &BR200) this one is designed for longer runtime. Flashlight comes in nice giftbox with Matador logo on. Inside printed manual (chinese), handstrap and spare orings. Out of the box it looks anf feels big, but when compared to Jet Ultra its almost same size a tad bigger.

The body is very well machined. This is exactly the same level as Tiablo A9 or MA6 – All part fits properly ,Threads lubed . All together it look and feels very solid. There is lanyard hole in the tail and yes it can tailstand.Head is huge comparing to the rest of the body, it consist of three parts as seen on pics below. The window glass has no AR coating.

Inside the tailcap there is module with switch and circuit board responsible for changing modes. When You click, it turns on high, click again within couple of seconds it changes modes: High-> Med->Low ->Off , wait for more than 5s and click will turn it off without changing modes. No mode memory, it will always start on High.
Boost /buck driver means that it can take wide range of batterys from single 18650 cell to 2xRCR123.
Not regulated with 18650 battery. See diagram.
Hotspot is a tight as most of throwers, with wide and a usable sidespill. Very nice beam pattern with almost no artifacts very common in SMO flashlight. Hotspot very well centered. Led tint white, little on purple side.

Thanks for review, as shown in the pics they both throw almost the same, what about a lux readings of both lights? 200 min to 50% with 1x18650 is pretty good, though no regulation.

Would you recommend this light but the BR200 version? What about build quality?

I would think that these are more compatible to the MA6
I'll compare them when I get my br200

Nice review so far. Thanks! Too bad there is no true regulation with 18650 and the pocket clip points the wrong way. Other than that it looks like a fine light.
Thank you for the outdoor beamshots and comparison versus a known light. :twothumbs
