WE's Thunder Q5

Am thinking about buying a WE's thunder Q5 (the 700+ lumen model) and was wondering how many here own one and how you like it? I have searched high and low and cannot seem to find any outdoor beamshots, anyone know where I can find a few beamshot pics?

buz: those reviews are w/ the q5. the r2 version should be a bit brighter.

oren1s: what do you think of it? i've been wondering about the reliability... was on the fence about getting the thunder r2 but couldn't find any long term reviews.

Does yours have the multiple modes and does it make a buzzing sound when on the lower modes? Mine does, wonder if that's normal.

Hey,

I don't use it much... its near the bed in standby. What i can tell is that its finish isn't hard as SF. Second it drains the battery while not in use unless you unscrew the tail cup. It does give a nice light out of it, unfortunately not tinted one. I got mine from Mike at PTS - great service!

But, i want to sell mine and get a WiseLed.
