Here's a great light modded with a Gdup converter and Seoul CSXOI P7 emitter. The Mcr27 has been also modified to produce a great beam pattern and fit. The beam is pretty much a wall of light. The output is double what the original seoul P4 emitter produced. There are a few small nicks on the bezel and tail cap as seen in the photos.

It will run on a single cell CR123, R123, 3.7V Li-ion
Levels are set at 10mA, 180mA and 700mA
This light is also "E" Series compatible

Do you have any beamshots? Are all 3 levels of the GDuP converter accessible?

I can try and get some beamshots up tonight. Yes all three levels work perfectly and are dicernable from one another. Low is plenty for most tasks, Medium has about the brightest output of the brightest Seoul P4 light Ive seen. And, High, is well pretty darn bright. Im guessing 250-300 or so lumens. The beam is as tight as a P7 emitter will allow. It has a good mix of throw and plenty of spill. IMO it has the perfect beam for an EDC in which close area illumination is achieved uniformly and not concentrated in a narrow beam.

How does one change light levels?
How fast does it get hot on medium and on high?
Approximate run time on medium or high?
Thanks.

Good Questions Rudi.
Here is a description of the UI and Converter

The light does not get really hot, and takes awhile to get warm on the high setting. The LE is very well potted and sinked. I do not have a formal runtime estimate. Through my testing I have used the same surfire 123a for about a 4days use and have'nt seen any real drop in output if that helps.

Price drop to $650
