Making my Fenix LOD/SL Microstream hybrid single-AAA forward clicky

Thanks to the gurus here (Marduke, selfbuilt) I have ordered the two AAA lights in the title to combine into a single AAA forward clicky which sounds really cool.

On reading a review in LightReviews on the SL Microstream, I notice it says that the battery tube and head of the Microstream are "sealed together".

I take it that unsealing them so I can put the head of the LOD on the Microstream battery tube is no big deal - or is there something I should know before I try.

The MS head and body are usually loctited together. A heatgun, hot hair dryer, or using the baggie boil method can loosen up the glue enough to allow the use of strap wrenches or leather gloves to unscrew them.
