Seen from http://magliteparts.net/links.html

Includes Candle Power Forum, The LED Museum, and LED Flashlight Review (Dansdata), among others.

CPF link is old, LED Museum links to minimag review, and dan link goes to Starlite and Arc-AAA reviews (eer).

Just thought this was intresting.

Checking whois (and considering the entire site is mostly one big ad), it looks to be an official site.

Also of intrest, I quote from http://www.magliteparts.net/flashlight_history.html -- "Several new products are under development, to be introduced only when Maglica is personally satisfied that their design and execution are up to Mag Instrument standards."

I wonder if they will have some LED options?

I'll be back on chat, probbably tonight. Just been poking about freebsd 5.0 deciding if I want to run it or the new 4.8, decided 4.8. Actually, gimme a sec, I'll install an irc client right now.

And yeah. Mag isn't quite the most popular here. And I wonder why they linked to the mini review, at least the 3D review has pros and cons.

The design isn't by mag itself, it's contracted. The links being the only real thing close to content besides the ads and cart, they're probably by the site designers as well.

(edit)
Eer, where's the irc server again? Something on port 8080 I think it was.

(edit 2)
Nevermind. Found it /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

from your quote above, they might..... When the find an LED that gives off a weak sickly yellow glow, draws 500ma, has a 2hr burntime, and has a 'black hole'. Then it will be up to Mag standards.
