need help with dell rebate

I bought a new comp about a month or so ago, befor i placed the order the guy was reading back my info and told me that after i get my first invoice i will get my $100 coupon which has no expiration date, i also said that back to him and he said again" there is no expiration date", so i got the coupon and there is a expiration date of 12-30-08, i most likely not be able to use it by then. I called dell a bit ago and told them all of this, and they basically said "the represenative should not have told you that, and sorry for the inconvience" If they said there is no expiration date, they should make good on it. I also asked to speak to the supervisor on duty and they said that "they will tell me the same thing." Any ideas what should i do?

After they rep i just spoke to said a few times "sorry", I had asked to speaak to the supervisor, i knew i had to go higher up in order to get somewhere, the person seemed hesistant to transfer me over, I got fed up and just hung up the phone.
