Just browsing the TL home page http://www.tigerlight.net/Home_Page.html
and saw

"COMING SOON is a blazing 600 lumen drop-in LED module available for the Series I and Series II TigerLights. With a two hour run time and rechargeable battery pack, this upgrade will be hard to resist. This exceeds the current 375 lumen capability of the Series I and II and will have an incredible run time of 2 hours."

I've searched here but can find any discussion, sounds like a great U/G to bring my Series I back into use, anybody got any info?

Saw it at SHOT - clearly TerraLUX engineered and Mfr'd.

Looked like a dead ringer for a TLE-300MR modified to fit a Tightlight to me.

Now that is good news. I bought a Tigerlight a while back and it has been a great light, but after having used the Inova T4 and the Pelican 7060, I really do like LED lights, Cree especially. Is Series I the original then?

I've been thinking of getting the magcharger TLE-300 to try to fit it in the TL. it'd be worth a shot, but I wonder how the heatsinking would go.

I suspect the modification is just to the heat sink, so that it mates well with the inside of the TL head. I haven't seen one of these yet, however.
