What is the best pill for the DBS V2 for the most throw?
I am thinking about usin CR123 just because i have the rechargables from AW...

But I want the most output possible. Sorry, Im a newb but I am willing to order from AW.

Im about to go camping and I dont even kbow what 18500' batteries are..

I dont need multiple settings, just an on and an off.

Thanks in advance for the outlook.

I believe that the 18650 will supply sufficient voltage for the maximum output possible. The 3SD pill will run the 18650 regulated throughout it's runtime. The advantage is much more capacity and thus better run-time than 2 x RCR123's.

The 18 = 18mm in diameter
The 65 = 65mm in length
The 0 = means that it's a round battery vs. some other shape.

Get yourself an 18650 battery. Some feel the 1S pill (the 4.2v max version) has the most output, but the 3SD is supposed to put 1.2A to the emitter as well.
