Fenix P2D Q5 Type 2 or 3 HA??

i noticed when i accidentally droped my P2d Q5 on the ground, it scraped off the coating, and showwed bare aluminum. Is type three supposed to be that thin? i droped it from 4 feet onto the road (concrete) Is this evidence of Type 2 anodizing?

i didnt think type III scratched off that easily, but i guess so.

It's more than scratching off. Hardcoat is rather brittle. If you dent the metal underneath (like from a drop onto concrete), the anodizing flakes off because it can't deform the same. It's not really being "scratched" off.
