Need some advice on building a Leef-Lego Light

Finally scored some HA Leef bodies from Lighthound!!!

I'm wanting to use a SF M2 bezel, Leef 1 x 18650 body, and some kind of compatible bulb...

Question is, should I build this using a lock out tail cap instead of a clickie? I'm looking for reliability since it will be my duty backup light.

I ordered some Lumens Factory HO-4 bulbs in the past to try to use in a 6P or G2 and a 17670, but they would not work at all. So I'm really hoping to get this configuration working, and working well.

I have run your set up as a duty light and it works very well, I'm just waiting for a Malkoff M30 to arrive to go back to my 18650 C-C leaf body.

I have used both LOTC and clickie tailcaps without issue but am now back with a LOTC just to make sure.

You can run a LF EO-4 very well with a 18650, lovely bright white incan, I used this set up for some time as my primary duty light.

Good to know... I just wonder why the 17670 wouldn't work?

Gotta get some 18650s ordered soon... Lighthound was all out, guess I'm gonna get some Wolf Eyes 168As from PTS...

17670 should work fine with a HO-4, did it not light up at all?

The 18650 makes a difference with the EO-4, quite a bit whiter and seems brighter as well.

You can 18650's direct from AW on the market place or 4sevens also stocks them, no idea who has what though?

A little thing, voltage sag, but oh such a difference it can make.

Did the 17670 batt have a flat top? In that case you might need a small magnet to make contact?

AW is getting some new 18650 batts in a few weeks If I understood it correctly, think they will have 2500 mAh instead of the 2200 on the current one.

Nope... I'm going to try it with a different LOTC... but if a LOTC is the answer I'm still curious as to why it wouldn't work in a G2
