ARC LSH-ST (081) vs ARC LS2 (413)

Hi out there in flashlight land /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif I just got these lights ARC LSH-ST (081),ARC LS2 (413)and i was not sure which is newer?? And if one is brighter or better color?? Or if one is a 400ma or 500ma model?? Any help would be great /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

dpr, did you try them out together? One brighter than the other? Different beam quality, color, beam size, etc? Bill

I don't think the serial numbers mean much at all. Within the past month I bought, new, from different dealers LSH-S 019 and LSH-P 029.

It was the LS1 in which some of the lights were called "500." But this was a misnomer. The "400" ran close to 333mA, and the "500" ran close to 417 mA. LSH and LS2 are the same internally, with high-dome Luxeons and running at 333 mA. Details are here .

And, I believe that the term LSH is newer than LS2, regardless of S/N.
