The light that gets the most use around my house is my old nuwai q3. Compact, single stage clicky that is the perfect go to light for my young boys and my wife. Best of all it was a bargain if i recall in the 30-35 range.

I know there's a lot of good lights out there but I want the same setup as the q3 but hopefully with a more current LED. Compact, clicky, single stage, single batt (123 or AA is fine) and also doesn't hit the wallet to hard?

Thanks.

The Romisen RC-N3 Q5(Grey or black) might be a good candidate. Shiningbeam has a coupon for CPFers but I don't remember what it is.

x2.... IIRC "cpfuser" is the coupon code.

FWIW the RC-N3-Q5 will emit about ~140 Lumens from an RCR123 cell for ~40 minutes, ~80 Lumens from a primary for about 90 minutes, and ~80 Lumens from 2AA for about 3.5 hours with 2000 mah nimh.

I'm not sure where to buy the Q100, I just read a review on here a while ago. I'll see if I can find it.
