Hi all and greatings from Norway.

I just ordered a Ledlenser P7 however the idea of 4 aaa batterys dont scream out any durability.

Is it posibel to change battery to 1 f.ex A123 Cell ?

4aaa gives about 4,8v with low mah power and high internal resistance.

Will f.ex A123 3,2V 2300Mah fitt in the Flashlight ?

Due to driving Rc cars i have charging equipment for A123 availebal at home.

It won't power P7 - too low voltage. Besides battery carrier and switch are in one piece.

It is possible to take the battery carrier off the tailcap..putting in one CR123 size cell would leave pretty much waste space inside, but I think that 1x 3.7V Li-Ion 25500 cell could fit pretty snuggly inside. You'd have to to change the resistors too, since it's designed to run with 4x1.5V.
