I know the E to C adaptors are out there, since I purchased one already. Is there a C to ?, to accept the Lumens Factory D36 bulbs.

I want to get a bezel to drop one of those 700 lumen bulbs into a 6p with extended tube. Plus a 9P with a bigger head bezel and that Lumens Factory bulb would be a cool thing to have. Even if I only get 20min run time.

Any suggestions?
thanks.

I just asked for this very same thing in a Surefire aftermarket parts request thread!:caution:

I want to use a smooth reflectored D36 LED module they have on a C3 body.

I also wouldn't mind the D36 option for some of my Surefires.

I never really thought of it before!

Who makes the best quality D36 head anyways?

I am not sure about best quality but the Lumensfactory.com ones are very inexpensive and offer a whopping 700 lumens

Ampdude was asking about the head, not the lampassembly. I guess Wolf-Eyes have some nice D36-heads. Sadly they are not SF-compatible...

Anyone who likes this idea should post your request in the surefire poll thread here.

Maybe by showing plenty of interest we can get this made.
