I've got a Surefire E2E flashlight that I'd love to find a way to convert to a useful LED flashlight. The only conversions I've seen cost way more than purchasing a new flashlight. Anybody here have any ideas. I've got four G2's also scattered through the house that I need to convert but apparently there are cost effective conversions for those out there. Thanks!

The SureFire KX2, KX2C, and KL4 heads all appear to cost over $100.

With the various CPF discounts, you can get an OpticsHQ E2 replacement head for ~$70.

Alternatively, you can get an TNC E2C adapter for about $30, buy a 6P bezel (or cannibalize a spare) for about $20, and then get a P60 LED drop-in lamp for about $10-$50.

Lots of options, but none of them are cheap.

Lots of cheap options, but many of dubious quality and/or exaggerated specs.

Start here.
