First I want to say thanks for all the nice help I got from this Web site CPF. to buildt my first Maglite dive light. :)
My Maglite is a 3 x P7 with 2 x ( 6volt 4,5 A Nimh) and a control to give me 2800mA. Reflector viewing angle 40.
There are two movies with 3 guys, we are 30M down and I brought some day light with me down under. The braightes light in the movies is my Maglite P7
It is a great divelight :twothumbs.
The movies is from today 08-11-2008 time 10am - 12am .Denmark

The color rendition in the picture looks very nice. going to download the movies and see what fun you had.

Edit: The download speed is slow for me at only 125kb/s even though I have a 6mbps DSL

Cool light! Did you do any mods to the maglight body/head to make it "extra" waterproof?

Downloading video as we speak...getting a steady 430kb/sec

It is very good to see this project was such a success - well done!

2 of your photos in post #1 are over-size. Could you edit them to 800 x 800 pixels maximum please.

Step one. Cut off switch section with a hacksaw and epoxy handle in to head.
Step two. Change all O rings for the next size up.
Step three. Replace lens with a thicker one. The stock one goes concave enough at 45 meters to push against a MR16 halogen lens to break it :poof:
