Flashlights that use 2 x AA are aplenty... but 2 x 18650 ?
Would a 2 x 18650 battery flashlight give a flat output as 2 x CR123 (if the body is interchangeble...) for a given "pill"? eg if Olight M20 Warrior has a new battery body that fit 2 x 18650 using the same R2 engine it is using now, will it give a better flat output + longer runtime than 2xCR123 ?

The M20 is rated to run on two RCR 123 3.7v cells so if a battery tube extension were used with two 18650 cells, then the light output would be regulated as with two RCR 123 cells but with longer runtime.

The Dereelight CL1H and DBS with 3SM pills and an extension tube can run 2 18650 (and i believe 4 CR123's also work with the extension tube)
