I purchased the G&P weapon light sold on Ebay.

G&P M3 Tactical 295 Lumens R2 CREE Weaponlight

I put an extra Cree Q5 I had and it fit perfectly. What I concluded is that if it fits youre Surefire 6P/G2 it also fits this light.
I emailed one of the venders and asked if they could sell me a tube without the batteries and bulb. They did and I paid $24.89 delivered. Dropped my Q5 and I also tried my Alpha G8 bulb. It fit and worked as perfectlly as it does on my flashlights.

Is it all plastic or does it have an Al bezel?

If so you have to be carefull about running hot led's in it. Might cook them! Now an M60L would be great.

The body is plastic, but the head bezel is all metal. Not sure if it is aluminum or steel. It fits really nice on my Glock. I went to show it off to a friend and he begged for me to hand it over. I felt bad, and I did at what it cost me.

Fortunately, I'm currently ordering another one for me.:twothumbs

I purchased this one from this vender.

Due to asking for just the bezel and housing body I saved $17 dollars, but I had to wait like 3 months. I'm just going to pay the $42dollars for the whole kit this time to get the light in 1 week. $17 dollars extra for the two CR123 sanyo batteries and surefire P60 incan bulb may/may not be worth it, but It's better then waiting 3months for the casing by itself.

And yes they sell the pigtail for this too. :D

I had it on my Glock 32, but my buddy is currently using it on his Glock 17c. This light will fit any rail gun, but it looks really great on black Glocks.

I just paid $27 dollars for a whole kit. Can't wait to get it and perhaps this time I will use my Cree R2 drop in, no maybe another Q5, wait maybe........:ohgeez::twothumbs

Best price I could find on ebay was $42 shipped, still a great deal.

16.99 GBP, not USD! Although it's still cheaper - $27USD+shipping.

I wonder if that bezel will fit on a 6p?

Also I see these mainly listed as Airsoft lights. I wonder how well it will hold up to real pistol use?

Re: Rail pistol Light accepts any G2/6P drop-in!

What do we think would be a safe drop-in for this?

I am thinking the 1-1.2A Q5-R2 drop-ins people are using now would be too much. Especially in that the nitrolile Surefires can't handle them.
No way this could.

I am thinking about using the P4? dropin that came out of a Romisen RC-M4.

Also don't forget to use the 30% off ebay on live.com, see the marketplace good deals thread.

You know...................
If it didn't do too well with real recoil, not that it won't I'm just musing, it could still be cool.

Cut off the part where it attaches to the pistol and sand it smooth and you have the cheapest semi knockoff 007! Switch might come on a bit too much in the pocket though..........

I just ordered from here, looks same.

I thought that i would use it as bikelight with P60 led drop-in as I don't have any guns to attach. Switch looks easy to use with gloves.

Juha

If you have a DX 6090, would you see if it fits? I'm curious as I've got a friend looking for a LED weaponlight for less than $50.

Actually, anyone who knows about using these guys with LED mods, would you let us all in on the secret?
