Indulge me a bit here--this is not trolling. Just bowing to the masters.

Most of you can probably guess who did these, but I won't say who, until my little Splash Challenge Project is completed.

What, exactly, is the Splash Challenge? I've invited three Ti anodizers to take 10 pieces of the Killer AAA Ti Keychain Lights and do with them what they will--colors, designs, etc., all of their choice.

Once all three artists have gotten their pieces back to me, they will be outfitted with some new 90mA drivers and special multi-die LEDS, and offered for sale, both here on CPF and elsewhere.

These Splash Killers are all from the same artist and, in my humble opinion, are among the most beautiful examples of splash anodizing that I've seen. I can't wait to see what the others come up with, but unfortunately that will be some time from now, as I am out of bare Ti Killer bodies. The good news is the machine shop in already working on the next batch. :devil:

Please, please, do not come asking if you can buy one of these--the answer is no, not yet. When all the lights are completed, selected pieces will be offered for sale exclusively to CPF'ers. Others will be sold through dealers.

[edit] OK, so CPF'ers can't read.

These will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis, when I start the sales thread. I will post all that I have left for sale, after shipment of the others to a couple of dealers. Yes, I will name the dealers, so you can check with them, too, for what they bought out of the batch.

if you didnt know already (and seeing how your proposed method is exactly like it) mr. atwood has the lottery system all set up already and is using it to sell some of his pieces. im sure you could borrow the system for a bit :naughty:

Fred those are sick cant wait tell they go on sale/lottery. they cant be done by Peter can they? cant wait to hear who these masters of ano are.

anyone with info on how splash anodize is done please contact me i would love to learn how and what is needed to do it. for a year i have been trying to get a hold of peters video he put out along time ago but no luck yet.

Due to economic reasons, I am abstaining from buying any lights at the moment. But #1 is spectacular.
