portable led desk lamp?

Ok, somewhat of a wierd question however if anybody knows - it will be someone on here. My Mom wants a small, portable battery operated (rechargeable if possible) desk lamp for Christmas (a regular flashlight won't work as she needs her hands).

She sells Princess House stuff as a hobby and hosts parties at people's houses and some places have very poor lighting and she needs to record orders and prices and stuff. I suggested a headlamp but no go

I know there are many types of lanterns out there but are there any good quality LED desk lamp type deals?

Any suggestions would be welcome.

I was at BIG LOTS today and they had a bunch of these... http://www.dorcy.com/products.aspx?p=411016 ...for 4.50 each. Replace the PR base incan bulb with one of these... http://www.dorcy.com/products.aspx?p=411642 ...and you've got a long running, traditional looking desk lamp. There's nothing ritzy about it, it's made of plastic, but it's light enough to transport easily.
