This is a 2-part question.

1. For those of you that know make the A2 your EDC, which EDC did it replace for you?

2. Assuming you EDC your A2 and the fact that it's LED and incandescent, did it replace 2-EDC lights for you?

1) It replaced the E2e-HA

2) I no longer use my ArcAAA or Photons for everyday use although I do often carry my ArcAAA in my jacket pocket with PhotonII on my keys - they are backups only. Basically the A2 replaced my E2e and ArcAAA.

1. It replaced my G2/P61.

2. I still carry a Teal Photon on the keychain also as a back-up.

1) my new A2 has replaced my E2E as my EDC
2) It has taken the place of my E2E and I use it in place of my ARC AAA,but my ARC is so easy to carry I still carry it with, but donot use it much.

1) A2 replaced E2e

2) Only one EDC replaced--left the Photon II on the keyring (doesn't hurt)

Subjectively how big is the A2 compared to the E2e? I was turned off by the A2 at first because of the size difference, but haven't actually seen them next to each other.

1) A2 replaced my M2(never wanted an E2e)

2)Now I don't consider EDC a keychain led light.

E2e for the incand...

ArcAAA/InfUltra for the small LED...

Can't replace an LS, though, so the Arc-LS 123 will stick around...

Re: ENC (nite) changed not EDC

For two weeks the A2 replaced my E2e with KL-1. I carried a E1 as backup.

Now I am back to the E2e with the KL-1 and the E1 as backup.

I really like the KL-1 as a work light. It is much brighter then the A2leds. That's the reason I switch back to the E2e/KL-1.

Too bad you couldn't place the KL1 on the A2 head...

I don't use my A2. I'm still waiting for Surefire to send me my replacement tailcap.

I went back to the E2e/KL1 as my primary light.

Re: ENC (nite) changed not EDC

Hmmmm... good questions...

My EDC for personal use went from a SF C2-HA to the A2. I recently changed things up a bit and alternate between an A2, or an E2e accompanied with an Arc AAA Standard. To say that the A2 replaces two lights when I choose it over the E2e/Arc AAA combo, is very much the truth.

Re: ENC (nite) changed not EDC

1. I sold my E2 even before I got my A2. The reason I sold my E2 was on the hope that I wouldn't be dissapointed by the A2, and I wasn't. The A2 has replaced my E2.

2. I used to EDC the Arc AAA, Arc LSH and the E2. Now I EDC the Arc AAA and the A2. The A2 may get benched when the LS4/LS5 comes out though.

My first day with an A2 and I think it's a winner. I like it more than my E2e(s).

I'm wondering about that extra 1.x inch on the A2 as well as it makes it one of the larger personal sized SFs.
For EDC, do you even notice the extra? How does the green look?

I'm thinking about taking the A2 plunge, but I'm gonna have to sell something (E2e and KL1 head?) /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon23.gif

Re: ENC (nite) changed not EDC

I don't have an A2 (green LEDs) yet, but I just wanted to say that I have been awed by my L1 w/ green LS and it has replaced my E2e and ARC aaa (turq) as main EDC.
