JetBeam C-LE v2 Problems

After a few months of use after cleaning, my JetBeam C-LE v2 begins having a few problems.

1. Trouble powering on after clicking the tail switch. Sometimes, after clicking, I have to shake the light so that it will power on. Also, the light intermittently shines and requires a firm shake to get it to come back on.

2. When powered on, the light will sometimes switch modes automatically.

I cleaned it a few months ago, and this fixed the problem until now. Is cleaning every few months (2-4) just part of the normal maintenance of this light, or am I possibly doing something wrong?

If you have already clean the light, change the batteries, then check the switch, try shorting battery - end with the body. If it turns on normally then you got a damaged switch.

If that doesn't work, you may have a loose driver which cannot make contact with body.
