I am looking to replace a D26 module in an old Pila G3 with an LED drop in.

I have two of these torches and will use both as bike lights (one is on the bike already with the original Pila incan which gives an excellent flood and I thought the other with a LED drop in for throw/longer run time)

I have had a quick look but cant find run times with 2 x 18500's for the new LED dropins, any ideas please?

I would estimate ~2.5 hours.

The 3.6-13V LF modules deliver about an amp to the LED, and in my experience, draw around 0.5A from a pair of li-ion cells.

On paper, that means 3 hours, but most 18500s don't deliver a full 1500mAH, so I'd say that 2.5 hours is a good safe estimate.

Thats excellent Eric, thanks.

I was hopeing it would be a good bit longer than the incan module

ok :digs up thread from graveyard:

I was wondering, how do I figure out runtime if I want to use two primaries? three? four?

I think I can handle an equation, but I'm not sure how to do draw and stuff.

Thanks much!
