Scout Mount light compatibility

First post, brother is a poster on here, owns some fancy surefire. Anyway, I'm looking for a flashlight to fit a VLTOR Scout Mount. They have mounts for the e-series, g-series, and c-series. I would like a small flashlight, and maybe a less expensive one (ie, streamlight, nothing crappy cheap), but I don't know anything about flashlights. Any help would be awesome, thanks

Sounds like a job for a SF G2 or G2L...Great lights, moderately Priced, will fit the 1" mount, and a great warranty!

The G2 in a Scout Mount is highly recommended by a lot of people. The plastic body is tougher than you would think and less expensive than the aluminum bodied lights.

Look at either a G2 LED or a third-party LED drop-in like a Malkoff M60.

It will be a little more expensive than a vanilla G2 incan, but you'll get a better return in light and durability for a weapon use.
