How´s the throw from the wolf-eyes P7 compared to the others?
Much worse than the Spear?

How is the Fenix TK11 compared to the other lights?

There is at least two threads which gives very good information about throw of Sniper P7. I´d say its max useful throw is no more than 60-70 meters.

EDIT: One thread is same led flashlights page as this is and the other on review section.

It is nature of P7 emitter. Flashlight makers have little much to do about it.
They can only make bigger and/or deeper reflectors to make P7 throw farther.

Now i found the page http://www.light-reviews.com but there´s unfortunately the Wolf-Eyes P7 and the Edgetac Spear not tested.
From the other flashlights is the A9 the best.
Dereelight DBS V2 seems to be also interesting!
How is the Dereelight compared to the A9 and the Wolf-Eyes?

I´ve now seen some pictures comparing the A9 with the DBS V2 on long distance and i don´t think the difference is really big. Or am i wrong?

Well we also have to wait what the Tiablo A10ACE will bring....normally it should blow the DBS V2 away...

DBS throws better than A9 and Spear. But some Spears are not glued and cam be focused to throw as far as DBS.

From the other flashlights is the A9 the best.

There is RaidFire Spear (EdgeTac=Nitecore+RaidFire) and from other flashlights DBS is the best.

Unfortunately the DBS can´t be fired with CR123As

I´m looking for a flashlight which can be used with accu and battery.

But if the DBS is really better than the others, perhaps i should change my opinion...

What do you guys think of the Tiablo A10 ACE?

You can use unprotected in Spear because it has built in over-discharge protection.

We don't know what to think about Tiablo ACE. It wasn't released yet.

Wrong the DBS can take 123's - its all in the pill's - as in which pill you buy with the DBS - heck buy 2 pills one for CR123's and 1 for 18650's http://www.dereelight.com/pills.htm

yes it can, and as you like CR123'S so much get the pill that fires up with 4xCR123A with extension tube.

BTW the A10 MCE (ACE) looks good on their website, but it uses the same throw shots as the A10 R2 so I would wait to see a review or two before deciding.

No i don´t want to fire it with 4 CR123As!
But I like to have the possibility to use it with normal CR123As if the 18650 is empty...

I have the A9, able to use CR123 at a pinch if my RCR123 dries up and don't have access to my charger.;) Plus I have other cheapie torches that uses the same batteries and I don't want to have different types lying around.

Cost wise in Oz the A9 was cheaper than the rest, and I think the weight and size is smaller without losing too much in performance.

Interesting to see what the A10 will be like, better start saving... :eek:oo:

Cheers,
Luau
