3D LED Maglight mods?

Hi guys,

I can get a new 3D LED maglight at Lowes for $15 right now. Can it easily be modified to use say a Cree Q5 or R2, without any extra heatsinking? Are there any really easy cheap mods for this? If so, I'd like to pick it up!

I know you can replace the Luxeon with a Seoul, but I wouldn't consider it an easy mod.

So I could put in 3W SSC LED w/o any additional heatsinking / modding, just like some soldering? I'd like to make it ~150-200 lumens...
