I have an old Surefire 6p, round body ,tail cap is marked laser products Fountain valley Ca. Are the old style surefires more desirable than the new ones? I noticed on the marketplace some people want this style. Thanks Dave

If you want to use it regularly the newer ones have some improvements like a lockout tailcap and a glass lens.
