well after scrwin up with the ebzel I found out that you can easily unscrew the bezel some and get a wider beam. Add an O-ring between bezel and body to create some thread locking tension and you are GTG.

Here is how it is made:

NOTIVE threads are not very long and you are using valuable thread area with this method!

I used a Surefire C2 body O-ring for maximum effect (measures 19mm inner diameter by 2mm thick). Alternatively the 20mmx1.5mm O-rings taht Dx sells are inbetween effects...

The P2 in the RC-G2 will create a smaller hotspot than a P4 or a Q5 as the emitter is smaller. A thin diffuser could also be placed behind the lens to diffuse the beam a little - one thing I love about the RC-G2 is that it all comes apart easily.
