I have had many requests on instructions on how to put a Luxeon Star into a Maglite. Of course, there is more than one way, or my way. This is how to do it using the kits I sell. Of course, you can make some of the parts yourself if you are able to.
Here's the link to a web page (under construction) on how to do it, using either a 1 watt or 5 watt Luxeon Star, and either the NX05 optics, or the 30mm optics. I'll add a section on how to use the Fraen optics later.
The idea is to make it very simple for anyone to do this.
