Simple question.

I can't find any specs for the driver of the Nuwai ALX-33K22L flashlight.
I sent a note to Nuwai about it, but don't know when I'll hear back from them.

Does anyone know if the Nuwai ALX-332L/ALX-33K22L will work with 1x18650 or 2x16340 cells?

A quick update.

Nuwai never replied to my inquiry about the voltage range for the driver in this light.

As for my other questions; no, an 18650 will not work because it's too big.

A 17670 will fit, but without knowing the voltage range of the driver, I don't know whether it's worth purchasing 17670 cells.

2x16340 is still up in the air since I don't know the voltage range of the driver.

The flashlight is simply the ALX-332L with a K2 emitter, so it's not direct drive.

I've had the pill out of it and it's like a sandwich wrapped in an aluminum slug. I could see a circuit board inside it but didn't take a super close look.

Like a good CPFer, I took the light apart (again) :)

I got a good look at the driver for this light and it is actually using the ALX-332L driver (ALX-332L U1 is stamped on the circuit board).

So this light is really just an ALX-332L with an updated emitter.

I'll go and see if I can find more info on the ALX-332L driver.

EDIT: Did some searches on the ALX-332L and found that the light works well (90 - 120 minutes output) with 17670 cells.
