OK guys,which one: Lumaper M1 Tactical Q5 or Dereelight CL1Hv4 ?

which one would be best for my nightly walks ? I live in the country, walk where there are no street lights, and is pitch black. Thanks for any input. I prefer using 18650 batteries.

I have just ordered a Eagletac T10C2 which is ment to be a very floody and powerful light in a small size. They do a 18650 version which is called a Eagletac T10L.

I find the thing with using a light for walking is, you dont want a torch with a really bright hotspot as you keep having to wave it about to see where your going to put your feet, while a bright light with good spill just lights up your way.

The Dereelights are nice too, and you can buy upgrades for them when they come out. As they are at the moment they seem to have a pretty small hotspot and are good for throw.
I have put off getting a Dereelight CL1H V4 until they bring one out with the new MC E pills (as they have in the DBS) when they design a reflector for it that will be Bright! and very Floody. As someone on here said 'A wall of light' LOL

CL1H V4. Get the 5A Q3 LED option, it's great for outdoors use!

I personally would go with the CL1H v4 with a Malkoff M60. This is a great combo - you get a host that can hold a number of battery combination's, very upgradeable (think MC-E soon), and with the M60, a ton of usable light designed by one of the best builders here on CPF. There will be no "low" with this combo - which doesn't seem to be a need of yours while taking a night walk in the pitch black. Somebody else will have to tell you about using an 18650 with the Malkoff. I just don't know...
