In another thread, a fellow forumite made mention of the perfect lineup. It was a great remark, and worthy of its own thread.

What's your perfect...
1. Keychain light
2. Small EDC
3. Large EDC
4. Thrower

At this point, I can only comment on the LF3XT being a great small EDC.

I haven't had enough lights through my hands to say really, but thus far my list would be:

1) E01 (got one)
2) D10 (got one)
3) T10C2 (just ordered one)
4) Deerlight DBS looks ok...

Good to see you picked up an LF3XT, Chewy. Here's my current favorite lineup. I added another category.

1. Keychain Light: Arc AAA (Alternates: Fenix E01, Fenix E0)
2. Small EDC: Fenix L0DQ4 (Alternate: LRI Proton Pro)
3. Large EDC: LiteFlux LF3XT (Alternate: Surefire L1)
4. Thrower: Surefire L1 (My best at this point)
5. Utility: Zebralight H50

Currently:

Key ring - Liteflux LF2
Small EDC - CR2 Ion
Large EDC - Novatac 85P
Thrower/High Output - Dereelight CL1H v3.0 2SM

Pondering a LF3XT for the small EDC - but the Ion is such a nice, and compact package, but the beam is a bit less versatile and primaries only (I like rechargeables). And I'm not sure if the LF3 is enough of a size differential to make it worthwhile.

keychain: E01 : I've got "better" lights, but I love how I can scavenge AAA's out of a TV remote if needs be to run it for another 10 hours!

Small EDC: Lummi raw al : I'm a student. Post motorbike my life savings will be about £500. I think it says something in itself that if I lost it tomorrow, I'd buy another one immediately for £50, not too expensive, I could live with it. And if the al's weren't in stock, I'd get a lummi raw ti for £150 immediately, which is about a third of my life savings. Yeah, seriously, it's that good.

Large EDC: Fenix L2D. Another nice common battery eater, very efficient, good build quality, nice and robust, etc. etc. etc.

Thrower: Raidfire Spear (first run)

utility: Zebra H60

Honourable mentions (nearly but not quite :p): Nitecore D10, jetbeam pro III ST, fenix L0D/LD01.

Keychain: HA AAA Peak Matterhorn 3 LED lug
Small EDC: Nitecore EX10 GD+
Large EDC: Surefire E2DL
Thrower: Fenix T1 (not a dedicated thrower but good enough for me)

Ah yes, the perfect lineup. Not sure if mine is perfect, but I'm quite happy with it:

1. Keychain light: MJP LE GT Extreme III (customized Liteflux LF2x, 1xAAA)
2. Small EDC: Jetbeam C-LE (version 1, 1xAA)
3. Large EDC: NovaTac 120P (1xRCR123)
4. Thrower: Don Shock modded 3D Mag (3 levels) with aspherical lens which easily converts to a nice around the house utility light by switching the aspherical lens for a reflector and a frosted front window.
