So I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, so if this is out of line, mods, please delete!

I've long written reviews and posted them on various sites. In the past I posted most of them on www.totalprotectioninteractive.com but since I stopped working as a mod there, I haven't had much of an outlet. Until a couple of months ago when I finally gave up resisting and started my own blog.

On this blog, I write reviews about all sorts of outdoors gear. Knives, clothing, flashlights, etc.
I pride myself on being objective and fairly thorough for the most part.
I also write some about the various hikes and such that I go on in my local area. Recently, that's involved a fair deal of exploring old mines, which this area is riddled with!

So, if you guys are interested, please check out my blog and feel free to leave comments and suggestions on my blog as well!

Here's the address: http://specialcircumstancesinc.blogspot.com/

Thanks!

You have some good stuff there. I enjoy exploring old mines also. It is a lot of fun. Plus it is a great way to play around with your gear.

That's a nice site you have there. I also like caving/exploring underground and you have many interesting trip descriptions and gear reviews. Thanks for letting us know about the site.

Thanks for the compliments, guys!
Yeah, I'm really enjoying the mine explorations. It's a fantastic way of truly putting your lights and other gear to the test. Mines are really rough on a lot of gear, what with all the rock dust and the highly abrasive and sharp surfaces. I will be adding to the site on a pretty regular basis, so check back!

I've added a few new things to the blog.
A quick look at a shouldermount I made for my Cygolite bike headlight, a brief treatise on personal preparedness and the kind of gear I normally carrry and an overview of some of the custom knives I've made. Check it out :)
