The Griffin uses a single RCR123 cell and the 1" diameter body is short and chunky. The head end is E compatible and the tail is C fitting. The star tailcap offers a good 'cigar' or 'fist' grip, and it houses a McClickie,
modified so that it can be locked out.
It is made from 6082 alloy, and has been finished in HA nat - two tone.
The surface is impregnated with PTFE. Which was just an idea from Colin, to see if it encourages anything which might cause a light scratch, to 'skid' off instead of biting in. This has not been tested!!
The light engine is an XR-E R2 WH tint, and Flupic driver.
There are more details and photographs in this thread. (Including photos and details of the build). The light in this thread I believe is the actual one for sale.
This light is as received from Colin, and has never been carried. Only tested in the house.
