Been picking up and playing with my Gladius recently and realised how much I love it, not just for the emitter (which has been modded to SSC P4 already), but the whole usability and quality.
Was just wondering if a SSC P7 would work in a Gladius with a Khatod 27mm reflector (the Gladius is originally using the IMS 27mm, which seems to share very similar dimensions).
I remember someone measuring 917ma on high. Referencing the SSC P7 spec sheet, that would be about 0.7 relative to [email protected] (700-900 lumens). (so about 40%)
40% of 700 lumens is 280, which is the rating for the latest SSC P4s @1A anyway; so is it even worth doing this mod seeing how the lumen output might be similar to a P4 with the added disadvantage that the P7 will throw less distance?
Or will the P7 not even work in the Gladius? I haven't been modding for a long while and I'm rusty on all the calculations. Any thoughts are appreciated
