hello!
I am searching for a really small 18650 thrower. Small means, no giant reflector, not attackbezel and as short as possible.
I Would like the dereelight c2h but it uses cr123. Is there anything like that wich uses 18650 for better runtime on high?

Shiningbeam L-Mini. It's very throw-happy even with the OP reflector (had to mod it to SSC to get some flood); with the smooth one it's definitely a good thrower.

I'd second that, but I think he's out of L-mini 18650's as of the last couple days.

I think DX has a 110mm length trustfire ( or somethingelsefire ) that seems decent enough........

If you can spend the $$, the Jetbeam III ST at bugoutgear would be great for this application - I think it's 120mm long

I haven't been able to find the L-mini on shiningbeams website, not sure it is still available.

thanks!
I have "several":broke:other lights, yet I do not own a JETBEAM.
I like my EagleTac T10L and Wolf Eyes Sniper, but have never owned Jetbeam. I prefer to buy from USA dealers (except when I place a "lummi" order with my British Pal Rob at ORB).
I dont recall 7777 or Lighthound, or BatteryJunction selling Jetbeam. Is there a USA dealer?

BugOutGear is the place to order for Jetbeam lights. Use coupon code 'cpfjet' for an additional 10% off

Thank you for all the answers.
I think the L-Mini is exaclty what i want, though the Sgt. Burkett seems cool too.
Which has more throw?
thank you, christian

I just though about a fenix tk11 wich seems to deliver impressive throw at a comparably small size.
The jetbeam 3 st is good too... lets see what christmas brings.

Why not a Dereelight CL1H V4? You can get a 3SD pill that drives the Cree at 1.2A regulated from a 18650. With a smooth reflector installed, and the pill focused for optimal throw, you should be able to do 9,000-10,000LUX.

I have an eagletac T10L and I am pretty pleased with it. It stays at max brightness for its whole runtime, then starts flickering and goes out completely (basically, it has perfect regulation). It has decent throw for it size, but the hotspot isn't really where most of the beam is. It has a LOT of usable bright spill. I was torn between the eagletac and a cl1h V4, but the capability of having momentary activation AND dual modes on the eagletac made me chose it over the dereelight. I really don't like having to cycle through modes using the switch, and I find momentary activation very useful.

Jetbeam Jet-III Pro ST

I would have thought the Jet-III Pro Ultra - isn't that supposed to be the better throwing version? I don't think it is much bigger than the ST model. I suppose either is a good choice depending on exactly how much value is placed on smallness and how much on throw.
