Sold/Expired 55w at 6v Anything to be done with it?

I am very new and a total novice.Just found an old handheld spotlight incandescent bulb(not sure what) but i checked its specks and the rechargeable cell is rated to output 55w at 6v, i assume it is Ni-Cd but as it has a large reflector and the wiring is already there from the battery with charge point, should i use it for an LED conversion?
