Fenix and XeVision related?

Just curious - are Fenix and XeVision a related company or buy from the the same OEM? Did a search but couldn't find any mention in the forum.

The xevision LEDs look very similar to fenix - even the logo lettering and sheath are similar... I might be wrong.

Was researching the XeVision HID and stumbled across their LEDs...

Sure looks the same, espcially with the Fenix twist-head level controller design. I'm guessing Fenix is offering OEM models for others to brand as their own. I also note by the prices that Xevision charges a premium for its nameplate over Fenix list prices (not to mention our privileged discounted prices...).

The 2AA "only" delivers 135 lumens in turbo mode, same as a L2D P4 Fenix. :whistle:

So it looks like Xevision buys the lower-end fenix lights and then marks them up higher than the high-end ones.

That is certainly a winning combination as long as the customers don't find out they are getting last year's product at next year's price. . . . :naughty:
