hi there...

as we know the surefire e2dl is an awesome light. I am considering of getting one of those. However, for its spec 120 lumens for 1.9 hours.. I am not sure what is the regulation like. I tried finding in CPF but I couldnt find any..

does it really produce 120 lumens for 1.9 hours?

Its not like the E1B where plot regulation charts are available at a few threads..

Realisticly i'd say it produces 190+ lumens for about 70 minutes or so.

Don't have any data to back this up,just comparing it to my other lights.

There's one thing this light does...impress

My findings exactly. The output of the E2DL is well over the rated 120 lumens. I estimate mine at 200+ since it's brighter than my M60 (which is about 240 lumens)

I just did a quick search for "E2DL runtime" and found this thread with a graph.

It looks like it stays flat for 90 minutes, then drops off pretty quick. 50% output appears to be at 110 minutes, or 1.83 hours.
