Modding a Gen 2 KL3 head?

I'm looking to find out how much it might cost to bump up the drive current on a KL3 head to something like 700mA.
It's already been modded with a Seoul P4 and a reflector, I'm just looking to get some more punch out of it.
Suggestions and ideas?

What voltage/cell arrangement will run this setup?

The MadMax Plus (MM+) driver would be perfect for any single cell light....$13?

Son Of Buck (SOB) drivers will do for 5~16V
I think....$20?

I should have probably specified that I was looking at retaining the stock driver, just have it modified with the sense resistors. And to pay someone to do the work, since I'm not really set up to work with surface mounted components.
