Got a few surprise additions to the light collection this year. :grin2:

SN853187.jpg

1. Novelty light from my son's girlfriend, Katie. It really has only one LED in the center. When you slide up the sideswitch you receive a mild shock. It sounds like there must be a little Van de Graaff generator inside. There's a separate tiny momentary switch to activate the light.

2. No surprise here. After spending all of about ten hours under the tree the stellar LF3XT, my self-purchased gift from wife Laurie, is now ready for the standard blinging with a rawhide pocket pull and maybe a leftover SF miniclip.

3. Another funny one from Katie. When you push the switch the lizard's mouth opens and a white LED inside lights up. The tail works as a carabiner.

4. Finally, my son Josh surprised my with a very cool Photon Rex. Been tempted by these since they came out. Surprising brightness on high. Nice GID switch. Haven't tried charging yet.

Lightwise it's been a very merry Christmas. Hope yours was too.

If you've seen one Panasonic Blu Ray player, you've seen 'em all.

I'll update with pictures later. Here is what I got:

SureFire A2 with white LEDs
2x Green Photon Freedom
1x Orange Photon Freedom
Green Lithium Glo-Toob
Remote control lantern from Eddie Bauer

I wanted a Photon Rex to try as well, but I'm very happy with what I got. The Rex can wait.
