Question about "dive" light

I am just looking for a light to go swimming with that I don't have to worry about how far the may go down under water. I'm stuck between the princeton tec torrent xenon and the torrent LED. I'm just wondering if the Xenon bulb is THAT much better underwater to sacrafice 25 hours of runtime... or if the incan tint is more usefull than the LED... because this is 8 batts we're talking about here. that's not cheacp. I will get rechargeables though.
Also if there is a better light for cheaper or brighter or cheaper battery usage, let me know.

Been my experience that 95 lumens (LED version) is pretty much useless underwater unless your 10 or 15 feet away. But much nicer colors.
You have a Main light I assume?
