Looking at getting one of these flashlights. I see some on ebay that are "new" 2007 models with Luxeon. Can someone clarify what this is and if it is better than the current models being sold at Target.

I see not all are tagged "Luxeon" when researching online and they seem a few bucks more.

All of the INOVAs use Luxeons but there are big differences in output and efficiency between the LUX I,LUX III,K2 and TFFC K2. AFAIK only the T-series lights use the more efficient TFFC K2.I think many of the latest X-series lights are using the older K2s wich are not as efficient. My wife gave me a Bolt AA for Christmas. It is brighter than I expected and has an even warmer tint than my T1s but it doesn't appear to be a TFFC K2(no telltale grid of holes/dots on the emitter). If the price is in the $45-$60 dollar range I would opt for a 2008 T-series light. The older K2 is OK(I like the bolt AA)but it is not very efficient and you will give up runtime.
