I read the adaptability as what is P60 drop-in compatible. All 6P's and all G2's are P60 compatible.

The G2, which is Malkoff compatible uses a P60 drop-in and a P61 as an option.
The G2Z, which is Malkoff compatible uses a P60 drop-in and a P61 as an option.

110% compatible.

They both come with the same drop-in from Surefire so, any aftermarket drop-in from one will fit the other.

IRA, BigC is right - the G2Z uses the same head as the G2, just a different body.

A Malkoff drop-in will fit any of the C, G, P or Z series from Surefire because they all use the same head - the differences are in the cut of the bodies.

Additionally, a fair number of people post about how deliriously happy they are with their Malkoff + Z flashlight combo. :twothumbs

The only problem is heat, I think the newer G2z LED's have aluminum bezels, so there shouldn't be a big problem. Most folks never use their lights for more than 10 minutes at a time anyways, if you keep continuous runtime under 15 minutes you won't have any problems.
