I got my Epsilon ED-P72 today which is a 2 x 18650 LED light with a SSC P7 (DSW0J) being driven at 3A. There are more details on the light here.

Here's what it looks like:

Here's the SSC P7 DSW0J magic:

Here's a size comparison shot:

(L to R: Dereelight CL1H V3, Tiablo A8, Epsilon ED-P72, 2C Mag, Fenix L2D)

Now for the beamshots... :grin2:

Exposure and WB (Daylight) are locked for all the outdoor shots.

Now, since I know a bunch of you are still trying to figure out if it's any good based on these shots since you need a point of reference to a light you own / know scroll on down and see how a light you own / know does on the same target... :eek:oo:

Yup, great flood light (I should know :p)

P.S. Your last image link (POB) is being blocked by Firefox as something is redirecting to securedliveclicks.com which is described as a "Reported Attack Site".

The extra beamshots for comparison are wonderful. Thanks for this review.
Do you find that the tactical finger stop-thingie makes holding the light uncomfortable?

Weird... The link seems normal here. It points directly to imageshack.

It's rubber so you can remove it if you like, but it doesn't seem to cause any problems holding it. It does not stop the light from rolling.

Traditional grip: (It's behind your hand out of the way)

Tactical grip: (it fits between your index and middle finger)

Index finger lifted to show where the ring is.

Apologies for the dirty hands, I was working on my car yesterday

It seems to have a larger hotspot that isn't quite as bright. It seems like there might be a similar amount of lumens coming out the front as the 6AA ROP. :naughty:

It's clearly brighter than 6AA ROP. Look at tons of spill around. It's between 6AA and 2xLi-Ion ROP.

This is meant as constructive criticism so please don't bite my head off.

I don't think you're really done a review, more of an overview.

I'd consider a review to have your viewpoints on construction, thread quality, what's o-ringed, run times, run time vs brightness etc.

Maybe a bit more info in your next review?

But thanks for the info you have taken the time to provide anyway, it's still appreciated ;-)
