Malkoff laser etched filter inquiry

I know that Gene Malkoff is considering selling laser etched filters that can have the wide beam patterns. Do you know if this project is still in the works? I have a M60LL that I would like to slightly diffuse the beam on for close up work.

I have heard no new news about the filters from Gene. Luckily you can have some top quality ones of whatever strength you want for really cheap.
