I've been asked to see if a LED drop-in module can be purchased for a Pelican M9 flashlight aka the Black Knight, but so far I haven't been able to come up with anything myself. So I am wondering if anyone here has seen anything on the market with a modern high power Cree/SSC (or even Luxeon) led?
The normal incan bulb looks like:
It's not your typical P60-like module - the center contact is negative so modding a P60 isn't the easiest solution. Oh, and I should mention that it runs on 3xSub-C Ni-cad battery pack which has the same net voltage as a single Li-ion rechargable cell.
